Welcome to the National Charity League, Inc.
Waco Chapter

The concept and premise behind National Charity League (NCL) is a mother-daughter membership organization.  The purpose of the organization is to develop leadership skills in women, primarily through philanthropic work, and to foster the mother-daughter relationship.  It is the hope of NCL that our daughters will develop a greater appreciation of the community values and ideals that our generation holds to be important and worthy of preservation.

National Charity League, Inc. now has 156 Chapters in 16 states with more than 39,000 total members, and in 2008 celebrated 50 years of success and growth.  NCL’s unique focus on the mother-daughter relationship while serving the community is the keystone to NCL’s success and growth.  All Chapters embrace the philosophy of strengthening the mother-daughter relationship and the communities in which they exist through philanthropic work and the development of future community leaders.  The organization has a solid foundation and the number of new chapters is increasing at a greater pace than ever before.

The NCL-Waco Chapter formed in December 2007; since that time we have adopted five local non-profit organizations that our members actively support through hands-on volunteer service.  Our chapter has approximately 190 members (mothers and daughters in 7th-12th grades.)  Waco NCL provides opportunities for mothers and daughters to enjoy both mother-daughter and peer relationships through philanthropic, leadership, and cultural activities.  You will see that we are an active, committed group that fosters the bond between mother and daughter.

Waco’s Chapter Membership includes a cross section of our community; a diverse group of moms and daughters from virtually every school in the community – including  Waco ISD, Midway ISD, Lorena ISD, Valley Mills ISD, Crawford,  Reicher Catholic High School, St. Louis School, Vanguard College Preparatory Academy, Waco Baptist Academy, Texas Christian Academy, and China Spring ISD.
